Description
Hawker Hurricane Mk.I (early) HC456 of 1/LLv 30 of the Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Force), based out of Hollola, July/August 1941. Flown by Captain Heikki Kalaja (1 kill).
Between March 6th 1918 and September 19th 1944, the national insignia as carried by the Ilmavoimat was a blue swastika on a white background. This was not connected with the symbol used by the German Nazi party - but was later prohibited from further use because of the apparent similarities.
1/72 Airfix A01010 (Hawker Hurricane Mk.I), with decals from Paint-Scale.

EXCELLENT!
I´ve read some info on Finnish pilots and it seems amazing what did they manage to do with theoretically old-fashioned fighters, including the Hurricane (but I´ve seldom found any info on the success that they might have had with Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, not the P-36, if any...)
