Lockheed C-130H Hercules CH-13 of the Belgian Air Component executes a go-around on approach to the Antwerp International Airport.

CH-13 is the 'odd-ball' of the Belgian Air Component's Hercules fleet: unlike the other aircraft, which were C-130H's delivered in 1972-1973, CH-13 was an attrition replacement, acquired following the accidental loss of CH-06 (fatal crash, Eindhoven (NL) on July 15th 1996) and CH-02 (hangar fire, Brussels Airport (B) on May 5th 2006). Originally delivered as C-130E 64-0552 to the USAF, she became N130EV with Evergreen Helicopters, before being sold to the Belgian Air Force in 2007. Converted and upgraded to equivalent C-130H MLU configuration, she originally received the serial CH-14 before cooler heads prevailed, and the decision was taken to renumber her in sequence as CH-13.
