Diesel locomotive 5120, formerly of the Belgian Railways, ticks over moments before her departure towards the line's other end at Treignes.  However, she's destined not to go beyond the station at Nismes due to a technical issue.

Testament to the line's volunteers, this break-down in service only results in a ten-minute delay - realising that 5120 is unable to progress, a reserve engine (CFL 914) is coupled to the back of the train and ends up pushing the train to its destination, 5120 serving as a "auxiliary control cab" for the rest of the journey.  She arrived at Treignes at 15:45 instead of 15:33.

The Series 51 (ex-Type 200) of the Belgian Railways was a second-generation Mainline Diesel locomotive.  Originally, 53 were ordered, but during construction, the order was expanded by another 40.  These were delivered as two different series, the 40 of the later series having an improved cooling system.  This resulted in a slightly different usage of the two - 200.001-053/5101-53 were more often used for lighter services such as passenger trains, while 200.054-093/5154-93 were more often found on heavy goods trains.  The first locomotive of the series entered service in 1961, and the last would linger in service until 2003.

5120 entered service with the Belgian Railways as Type 200 unit 200.020 in April of 1962, and was retired in June of 2002.  She was subsequently sold to the CFV3V museum line and fully restored to her 1970s Diesel livery.  The 'dot' in front of her number refers to the fact that her steam boiler has been removed, meaning she could not be used on passenger trains with steam heated carriages.
