Spontin (Belgium), August 16th 2015
Locomotive "Bison" (La Meuse 3292) arrives at the Spontin station to a lot of attention. The little industrial locomotive, built by La Meuse in Liège (Belgium) in 1928, was on a visit from the Dutch railway preservation society Stoomtrein Goes-Borsele - despite its Belgian roots, the locomotive has been in Dutch ownership ever since it was built. (as an industrial locomotive from 1928 to 1971, and as a museum locomotive since 1972).
"Bison" is one of a large number of "La Meuse" industrial locomotives which have been preserved:
