January 31st 2016 saw the 100k mark pass, rather quicker than expected (with a 150+ pageview jump in 45 minutes' time), so I suspect some Kiriban hunters were about. (

However, up until now the 100K mark remains elusive. The closest that has so far been claimed is pageview 100002...

An open letter to deviantArt
Dear @team Once, in the not so far past, deviantArt was a platform which supported its artists, nurtured talent, created a community of like-minded artists, encouraged fringe artists to do their own, unique thing. It was a site which was easy to browse, where art was easy to find, where messages could easily be browsed in page form. And then you came, Wix. You bought out the site, squeezed out the old guard, and quietly began to transform deviantArt. First you launched Eclipse. Oh, how you launched Eclipse indeed. November 2018 brought us a glimpse of what you had in mind. But there was hope. We could still use deviantArt v8, and Eclipse was just a beta. Surely, feedback would improve it over time, right? 2020 was a bad year, and May 20th 2020 must have been one of its worst days. Just as the Covid-19 pandemic was at its worst; just as artists around the world needed contact and support like never before - deviantArt shut down v8 and swiped the floor from under people. No
